Geraldine was awarded an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy (First Class Honours) in 2012 and is fully accredited with the Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP). She is also fully insured. She also holds a BA in Psychology from Dublin City University (2002). Since 2001 she has worked supporting people with acquired illness and disability. She is particularly interested in empowering people to navigate their way through obstacles life may present, (whether these be physical or psychological ailments; problems at work or in relationships) and in helping people to explore different ways to manage stress. She uses a Solution-Focussed, Person-Centred approach. She is also certified in Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
